Frome Town Council has given FROGS (Frome Recreation and Open Ground supporters) a thousand spring bulbs of different varieties to plant at The Other Side.
FROGS say, “This will give a fantastic display on the riverbank right through the spring. The only thing is, it is October now and the bulbs need to go in right away!
“Would you be able to give us a hand for an hour at any of the following sessions, please? Just turn up at The Roundhouse Garden at The Other Side – across the river from Welshmill Park, on Thursday 10 October from 9.30am
“Stout footwear is recommended. If you can, bring a trowel and gardening gloves. Children are welcome, but must be under the supervision of their adult as we will be working close to the river.”
