FROME video game cafe Extra Life is hosting a Dungeons and Dragons charity event to raise money for the YMCA Mendip Routes project.
The fundraiser is running alongside the Frome Comic Con and is inviting fans of the role-playing game to come along, team up and raise some much needed money for the local charity.
Run by YMCA Mendip, Routes is a youth drop-in centre on Frome’s Palmer Street, that has been campaigning to raise tens of thousands of pounds to avoid closure.
The event is on Sunday 13th August from 11am until 6pm at the Extra Life video game cafe on Vallis Way. Entry is £3, with half of all the proceeds raised going to the Routes.
