FROME charity ‘We Hear You’ have been nominated by Starbucks partners and customers around the UK to take part in Starbucks’ ‘Cheer for Good’ campaign.
The campaign looks to raise awareness of important local causes and sees 210 charities from across the UK competing for a top 30 spot. These top charities will then receive a £2,000 grant to provide necessary items or services for their causes.
Frome’s We Hear You are asking you to ‘Cheer’ for them by volunteering in various fundraising activities, following them on the campaign’s page www.neighbourly.com or by tweeting their twitter handle @WHYwehearyou with the hashtag #CheerForGood. All of this will win them votes in the competition and the charities with the most votes will be able to claim the grant.
We Hear You would hugely benefit from the grant and you can help them to achieve this without having to pay a penny, simply tweet or follow them. This could potentially help them to fund 45 counselling sessions for those affected by cancer of other life-threatening illnesses.
