Home in Frome are inviting people to take part in free workshops as part of their Community Threads project to make a Frome ‘memory quilt’.
Do you have a special memory you would like to see on the quilt; dressing up for Frome Carnival? Hide and seek in Vallis Vale? Putting frogs in someone’s bed?
Annabelle Macfadyen, on behalf of Home in Frome said, “We are looking for treasured tales which we will guide you to transform into beautiful textile pictures using simple techniques.”
The workshops will be led by artist Mel Day and there will also be the opportunity to write your story with guidance from David Davies, poet and writer.
