FROME based charity, The Pod, which primarily supports families with children and adults with additional needs, is extending its work to promote the Household Support Fund within the local community by holding several public drop-in sessions in the town.
The Household Support Fund is designed to provide short term financial help to Somerset residents who are struggling with the cost-of-living crisis. The drop-in sessions will enable The Pod’s representatives, Nicki and Jonathan, to give out information on how to access the fund as well as physically helping with the application process. The sessions will be held at the following places and times:
• Asda – Tuesday 6th February and Tuesday 13th February, 1pm to 3pm
• Frome Library – Friday 16th February and Friday 23rd February, 2pm to 4pm
• Sainsbury’s – Tuesday 20th February and Tuesday 27th February, 1pm to 3pm
If you would like Nicki and Jonathan from The Pod to visit your organisation or for more information, contact them on nicki@thepodcharity.org.uk or telephone 07592 501022. Information about the work of The Pod Charity can be found at www.thepodcharity.org.uk.
