Over the past nine months, Frome Town Council and Chamber of Commerce have been working with local businesses through monthly breakfast meetings to identify needs, encourage cooperation and support success.
Last month’s event saw over 50 local business people come together at DNA Worldwide on Commerce Park to tackle the issue of transport. The aim is to create practical solutions such as lift shares, cycle facilities and public transport. Previous areas of focus have included: office space, social media and marketing and streamlining business waste.
The next business breakfast at the Assembly Rooms on Tuesday 5th July 7-8.30am, will provide an opportunity to find out how the Town Council has responded to these discussions, and what practical steps have been, and will be, taken to support the local business community. It will also be a chance for businesses to voice their concerns, hopes and ideas for the future.
Any local business or organisation, big or small is welcome to attend. The event costs £10 per person and includes a delicious buffet breakfast. Please contact Jane Llewellyn on llewellynj@frometowncouncil.gov.uk / 01373467575 for further information. Registration is required visit
