Frome Town Council are working with Sustainable Frome and FRECo to organise a second One Planet Sunday event at the Cheese and Grain on Sunday 11th October, and are looking for ideas.
Co-organiser Anna Francis said, “This is an opportunity for anyone to get involved – to help organise activities and to input into how we can make Frome a truly sustainable One Planet town.”
Last year the event was attended by over 350 people and workshops and stalls ranged from renewable energy to electric bikes to live cookery demonstrations and music.
This year the organisers want to cover all elements of One Planet Living – from energy to transport to water to nature, local equity, fair trade and health and wellbeing.
