Singing Social has expanded its service thanks to funding from The Big Lottery Fund.
Building on the success of the fortnightly pre-school music workshops held at Gracewell of Frome, the Singing Social team are delighted to be in a position to offer more workshops.
The not-for-profit company has teamed up with Frome charity Active and In Touch to offer a new monthly intergenerational workshop which aims to promote inclusivity, community cohesion and the joy of making music together.
Music leader, Willow Harwood said, “We have had such a positive response from everyone at Gracewell and have seen first-hand how beneficial it is for the residents to spend time with young children. We are over the moon to be able to offer our service to the wider community of Frome.”
The new group will start on the 25th September.
