The Superstars of CSF Professional Wrestling open the new year in style live from the Cheese and Grain in Frome on Sunday 3rd February with a true star-studded line up of International Pro Wrestling action.
The popular venue hosts another live edition of ‘Wrestling Showdown!’, which will see over two hours of bone-crunching, high-flying, action-packed family entertainment take place as 14 top wrestling names do battle in five championship, tag team and grudge matches.
Last year CSF events in town saw TNA Impact star Bram and former WWE and reigning BLW World Champion Montel Vontavious Porter: MVP in action. This year wrestling fans of all ages are again treated to the big names as multiple time WWE and WCW World Tag Team champions: The Nasty Boys will make a rare UK appearance! The Legendary Tag Team competed at many WrestleMaina, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble events, facing opponents such as The Legion Of Doom, Demolition, Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Higan and The Rockers. In WWE (WWF) they captured the World Tag Team Championship from Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart and Jim ‘Anvil’ Neidhart and went on to hold the titles a total of three times, whilst their career in WCW saw another three World Tag Title reigns facing Sting and Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, Harlem Heat, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, Arn Anderson and Paul Roma,
On February 3rd, the Nasty Boys join CSF Wrestling at the family friendly event, featuring such competitors as: ‘The Fox’ Kian Kelly, Charlie Sterling, WWE NXT star ‘English Lion’ Eddie Ryan, Bane and Bronson, The Saint, Olly Lloyd, Dan Splash and masked star White Tiger, along with a host of new names making their first appearance in Frome, including top Uk star Jimmy Meadows.
CSF Professional Wrestling has been hosting live bouts for 20 years. 2018 alone saw legends of the sport: ’Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan, ‘Masterpiece’ Chris Masters, Sabu, Mr. Kennedy, Juventud Guerrera, Doug Williams, Jack Swagger, Abyss, MVP, Matt Riddle and former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville all in action. The All Nations Championship, currently held by WWE NXT superstar Mark Andrews will also feature at an event in Frome in the near future.
CSF management say, “Wrestling fans at the Cheese and Grain have always given us a warm welcome when we visit town. We held our first bout here 14 years ago and have now held over 40 live events at the venue. We bring the biggest names in the world to our shows and look forward to giving fans of all ages another action-packed evening of live entertainment in February.”
Doors open at 5pm with showtime at 5.30pm. The event will finish by 8pm, following this there will be a chance to have a photos taken and collect autographs from the star-studded roster including The Nasty Boys!
