THE Rotary Club of Frome Selwood’s presidential handover ceremony was this year held at The George Inn, Nunney.
Outgoing president Geoff Cardnell handed over the chain of office to incoming president Chris Stilton in the presence of district governor Rick Canham and invited guests.
A club spokesperson said, “Chris Stilton in his address to the club talked about his long-term involvement in the Cheese Show and the links between the show and Rotary in Frome. The coincidence of his name and interest in cheese was not lost on the audience.
“This is the 33rd year of Frome Selwood Rotary with the club continuing to serve the community through donations and service.
“With a variety of membership types on offer there is something in Rotary for everyone so why not come to one of our meetings to see what it’s all about.”
