Proprietors of The Full Moon at Rudge, Ann and Chris Taylor, say that following a very successful fundraising ball, which raised £650 for Dorothy House, they are delighted to further support the hospice with a fundraising idea from members of staff Charlotte Flack and Dean Freeman.
Charlotte and Dean are organising a challenging cycle ride from Marlborough to the Full Moon on Saturday 25th September.
Dean said, “A group of us have got together and it will be very encouraging if customers support us with sponsorship and are there to cheer us across the finishing line – I look forward to a well earned pint and an entertaining evening!”
There will be a disco and karaoke evening from 8.00pm for just £2. Children accompanied by adults are very welcome. A local company, Castley Couriers, has kindly offered to transport the cyclists to Marlborough for their 45-mile trek back to the pub.
