The popular Frome Country Market which takes place every Thursday morning at the Cheese and Grain Hall, has generously moved from Thursday 17th of September to Friday the 18th, in order that events connected to the Tour of Britain Cycle Race can take precedence.
The Country Market, which sells items such as home made cakes, jam, honey and other confectionaries, along with goods from arts and craft stalls and garden plants, has many loyal customers, who it is hoped will be able to defer stocking up on provisions for one day.
The Tour of Britain Cycle Race launches its West Country leg from Frome on Thursday 17th September just outside the Cheese and Grain Hall in the Market Yard car park. It is expected that many thousands of visitors will arrive in the town, and it is hoped that many will stay, and so visit the Country Market and other attractions on Friday.
