Although it has been an unusual year for the members at Orchardleigh Golf Club, the business of raising money for charity continued throughout 2020.
As a result, the out-going chairman, Jim Worsley, was able to present a cheque for £1,295 to Dorothy House, represented by Steph Cox.
“Dorothy House has been a consistent recipient of our fund raising for a number of years,” said Jim, “as we are so impressed with the work they do and so many of us in Frome have known people who have needed their help.”
Orchardleigh was also able to donate a similar amount to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
