Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books For the Love of Reading season of events continues as they welcome Joanna Nadin to Frome this month with her brand-new book After Darcy.
Whether you’re a fan of Austen or not, this modern-day sequel to the much-loved Pride and Prejudice sees the Bennet sisters pushing 40, navigating the everyday pressures of modern-day life – parenting, dating and working – after the devastating loss of both Darcy and Bingley.
“Told with the sharp wit of Austen, this is a celebration of the original story with a satisfyingly modern twist that will have you falling in love with the Bennet family all over again,” said Abi Kohlhoff, Assistant Manager at Winston’s Hunting Raven Books.
“Part sequel, part reimagining, and wholly delightful” (Jodi Picoult). “An absolute delight. Funny, moving and filled with heart” (Jennie Godfrey)
The event is on Thursday 26th March at 7.30pm (doors 7pm) at The River House, Frome.
Tickets are £4 via winstonebooks.co.uk or in-store.
Books will be available for purchase and signing after the talk
