FROME in Bloom is celebrating its 40th anniversary and is looking for more green-fingered residents to take part in this year’s competition.
Frome in Bloom is a competition to encourage the community to take pride in Frome, making it attractive to all. There are 27 classes to choose from including all the usual categories, plus a few new ones, which range from classes for children, front and back gardens, hanging baskets, schools, community gardens and many more.
Frome in Bloom press officer Valerie Norvall said, “We hope this will be the best year ever with lots of entries, as this is a special anniversary for Frome in Bloom.
“With so much choice of classes there is something for everybody, so please get growing and get entering.”
The closing date for entries is Wednesday 28th June. Judging will take place from Monday 10th July until Monday 24th July.
For more details about how to enter please pick up an entry form at Frome Library, Frome Town Hall and the Cheese and Grain. Forms and more information can also be found on the Frome in Bloom Facebook page. You can also call 01373 467781.
