THE legendary Kiki Dee, accompanied by virtuoso guitarist Carmelo Luggieri, will be appearing at the Merlin Theatre in Frome on Saturday 9th March as part of a major UK Tour celebrating their latest album The Long Ride Home.
The show marks their first ever visit to the town. Organisers say, “Kiki’s incredible, emotional, soulful vocals have won her a huge following for the past five decades, seeing her becoming the first British female artist signing to Tamla Motown, scoring massive hits with Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, True Love, I Got The Music In Me’ and more.”
Carmelo has appeared with such luminaries as Paul Rodgers, Bill Wyman, Julian Lennon, Andy Williams, Billy Connolly and Ralph McTell and is widely recognised as one of the world’s top acoustic guitarists.
Expect all the hits, great new material and amazing stripped back cover versions of songs by the likes of Kate Bush, Leonard Cohen, Frank Sinatra and even Depeche Mode! Together for over 25 years, Kiki and Carmelo have formed a unique musical bond and their spellbinding performances have become a thing of legend.
