Frome bowed out of the Somerset Premier Cup at the first hurdle as after Aidan Kirby had equalised Rob Hobbs’ early goal, Dean Griffiths popped up to score the winner for the hosts in the 90th minute.
Rob Hobbs put the Larks ahead after only five minutes with a thumping strike into the top corner of the Frome net, after being set up by Dean Griffiths following a Jamie Lyons cross.
Frome Aidan Kirby equalised on 20 minutes thanks to some slack defending and for a while looked the better side. The Larks rallied, however, and Dean Griffiths sealed the win by striking decisively past ex-Lark Kyle Phillips as extra time was beckoning.
A lot of chances for Frome but just not clinical enough. Larkhall had few chances but took them.
