COMEDIAN Lee Nelson will perform at Frome Memorial Theatre next month as part of his new ‘Serious Joker’ UK tour.
Lee will bring his new stand-up show to the theatre in April, and there are still other hot tickets on sale over the coming weeks.
This Saturday 4th March will be the Rotary clubs of Frome’s charity concert with performances from The Molecatchers, The Woodlanders, Frome Musical Theatre Company, Danceworks and local young talented performers from the recent Frome’s Got Talent competition. The show is at 7.30pm and tickets cost £12 each.
On Saturday 11th March Lympstone Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines will return to Frome for their annual concert. The fundraiser allows Frome Royal Naval Association to support various activities in the local area including Sea Cadet unit, TS Achilles. 7.30pm start and tickets are £17.
On Friday 17th March there will be a fun quiz night at The Assembly Rooms. All are welcome and entry costs £10 per team of a maximum of four people. There will be prizes for the 1st and 2nd placed teams, and meals are available beforehand. 7pm doors.
Then on Saturday 1st April – April Fool’s Day – comedian and prankster Lee Nelson will take the stage. Best known for his TV show ‘Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show’ and for turning up where he’s not wanted – he ran onstage during Kanye West’s Glastonbury Festival headline slot in 2015 – Lee is now touring his new and ‘best ever’ stand up show. The show is at 7.30pm and tickets cost £20.
