FROME Town Council is inviting people to see and discuss the finalised Safer School Street plans at a series of meetings to be held at local schools in the last week of January.
It is an opportunity to hear more about why the initiative is needed, what the design will look like and how you can help make the trial a success.
Nikki Brain, resilience manager at Frome Town Council said, “We’re looking forward to sharing and discussing the finalised plans with residents and families. It is a real opportunity to make our streets safer and so I would urge anyone with questions to come and get the answers directly from the team, so that we can all, as a community, ensure that our children get an improved and fundamentally safer experience of the school run. Ahead of the meetings you can view the plans on the Frome Town Council website.”
The meetings will take place on the following dates, and residents and families are welcome at any of the dates:
Avanti Park School – Wednesday 25th January 5pm to 6.30pm
Oakfield Academy – Thursday 26th January 6.30pm to 8pm
Trinity First School – Wednesday 1st February 2pm to 3pm
