The winners of a Christmas card competition run by the Friends of Frome Library were recently selected, with all designs now displayed in the library’s window.
The Friends of Frome Library launched the competition, encouraging children to create designs on the theme of ‘Christmas in the Library’.

The winners were Hazel, eight, in first place for the six years plus category, and Mabel, five, in the five years and under category.
Runner-up in the six years plus category was Georgia, six, and runner-up in the five years and under category was Cleo, five.
The winning designs were chosen by the librarians. While the competition has now ended, the Friends are encouraging children to continue sending in their designs so they can be displayed in the library window in the build-up to Christmas. Templates can be collected from the enquiries desk in Frome Library.
