THREE local businesses have given a donation to Frome Carnival which will go towards the running costs of the event.
Kevin Corcoran Carpets, Frome Minibuses and Postlebury Car and Commercial donated much-needed funds to the carnival committee last week, ahead of the big day on Saturday 24th September.
Carnival committee chair June Barnes said, “We are very grateful for the donations from the local businesses. Without funds, we simply cannot put the carnival on and then as a result, we can’t help local charities and causes, so we are very pleased to receive kind donations.”
