Cooper and Tanner have been nominated in three categories of the prestigious Bath Property Awards.
Hotly contested by agents in the region, the awards cover all aspects of property – from architecture, through sales to property management.
John Phillips of Cooper and Tanner lettings department said, “We are delighted to be nominated in three categories: Best Commercial Agent, Best Letting Agent and Best Employer. As head of lettings, I am particularly proud to be nominated in the lettings category, my team and I have worked flat out over the past few years to establish ourselves as market leaders in a competitive area. Whilst we hope to win, just being recognised as being in the top two or three (department) agents in the area has made us all very proud”.
The awards are due to take place on 15th November at The Apex Hotel in Bath.
Quintyn Howard-Evans, senior managing partner of Cooper and Tanner said he was “both surprised and delighted for my firm to be nominated in so many categories. Our lettings department has grown from a relatively modest operation in Warminster, to holding a leading position across the Cooper and Tanner area. We are due to open our new Frome Lettings branch later this month – this will help us to not only service our existing Frome clients, but offer all of Frome’s landlords the full Cooper and Tanner service.
“Jake Smith of our commercial department has had a huge impact on the commercial business in all of the towns we work across. Jake and his assistant Karen are a small but highly effective team, selling and letting all types of commercial property However, on a personal note, I am humbled for us to be nominated for the Best Employer category, our staff are out most important asset and my partners, and I all appreciate the loyalty and dedication they show us.
“We try to be a genuinely caring employer – not just playing lip service to that responsibility. We have for example recently held mental health training days – which were both productive and well received. We hope to provide this training to all staff before the year end. So, whatever the outcome, and I of course hope that we win all three awards. Jake, John and I are just happy to be recognised”.
