Frome Friends of Palestine’s next event will be a screening of the film “Gaza: A Story of Love and War.’
The film will be shown at Trinity Hall, Trinity Street, Frome, BA11 3DE at 6.30pm on Wednesday 27th August.
Organisers say, “The film tells a story of Gaza and Palestine that brings you closer to the human realities. You will meet Sami Abu Salem as he shares his experience growing up in Gaza, discovers his inheritance, becomes a journalist and raises a family.
“Sami is eloquent, humorous and hopeful. But then we see what he endures as his world collapses under Israel’s siege. As Sami sees everything with his own eyes, we too can see more clearly.”
Tickets are £10 on the door and can be reserved via Eventbrite. The ticket price includes a selection of light Middle Eastern food.
