FROME-based songstress, Sara Vian is raising money for MIND in Somerset with a music video especially created for her latest single “Brighter Days” – an uplifting acoustic jazz-folk fusion with Spanish influences to spirit you away from the gruelling grey into sunnier vistas, featuring local guitarist, David Setterfield.
Sara says, “The song was originally inspired by the Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Festival song-writing competition in February 2020 and co-written with Chris Watson from Music Eye Radio (Frome FM) who discovered a folk tale about how humanity was locked out of the Garden of Eden in bitterest snow until an angel took pity on us and blew life into the snow to create the snowdrop and lift our spirits. Artist, Julie-Anne Cook from Bruton created the artwork.
“The song is available to download across all digital platforms and you can watch the video and make a donation to MIND in Somerset at https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/SaraVian
