A new initiative for Frome is being made possible by local businessman, David Warburton.
He is funding an event at the Cheese and Grain on Tuesday 11th November called Under One Roof. This event, which is free to the public, will be from 10.00am until 3.00pm.
The concept is taken from similar events run in the States. Companies offering financial advice for new and existing homebuyers; estate agents; cheaper energy costs – renewable energy; Rental properties, both social and private; all these experts come together to help the public source the information they need to make a life changing decision.
David said, “This first time event will be smaller than those found Stateside. However, I have chosen to incorporate a Jobs Fair at the same venue. Therefore giving a total – Under One Roof – experience for the local people in Frome.”
Local companies who will be at the fair with current vacancies include: Sun Traffic, Domino’s Pizza, British Army, Sainsbury’s and Prospects.
The Housing Fair has representatives from TSB, Nat West, Mendip District Council, Apple Build & Design and Clive Lewis estate agents.
David said, “I would like to thank those companies that are supporting this new event and we all expect a successful day on Tuesday. This should become a fixture in the Frome calendar.”
