JUNE brings the best of early summer’s delicious local produce to The Frome Independent on Sunday 4th June.
From 10am to 3pm throughout the town centre you’ll find everything from award-winning cheeses, honey and salad greens to sauerkraut, biltong and homity pie.
With the growing season in full swing it’s the perfect time to pick up herbs, house plants and cut flowers from the Homes and Gardens market by the river or search for vintage garden planters, furniture and pots from the vibrant Flea.
Celebrating the town’s first full Pride season, Frome’s LGBTQIA+ group is taking over the market stage this month. In collaboration with Frome College’s Equality group, they’ll also have a stall and some lovely craft activities round by the Village Green.
Organisers said, “We’re very pleased this month to be partnering with Somerset Mind, the local mental health charity. Look out for their volunteer fundraisers and find out more about the services and support they offer.”
