Frome and District Lunch Club recently enjoyed an Easter Bonnet competition with over 80 members in attendance.
Committee member Margaret Binney reports, “Ladies and gentlemen created some lovely works of art which were paraded around the room after lunch. Artistic members also decorated an egg. Winners received a chocolate Easter egg and a round of applause.”
The lunch club for over 50s meets on a Monday and Thursday at Frome Football Club offering a home cooked two-course lunch, friendship and activities.
Margaret says, “People can arrive from 11.30am onwards and buy coffee etc. Lunch is served at 12.30pm and there are activities such as bingo after lunch. Come along and join us!”
