SELWOOD Academy was visited by the Osiligi Maasai Warriors who performed for year 5 pupils and staff.
The academy said, “It was a brilliant display of traditions, dance and song from this nomadic tribe living near Nairobi in Kenya. Since 2003, the group has been performing an annual tour of the UK.
“Year 5 pupils have continued to be inspired by the Maasai group, with the following quotes, Charlie B “So cool,” Emily H “Really good singing, great”and Alexis T “Every single second I was smiling.”
