Following the successful partnership between Goodwills and local charity, We Hear You in 2017, local people will once again have the opportunity of making or updating a will with Goodwills and supporting We Hear You (WHY), at no additional cost during the month of November.
Goodwills make a substantial donation to We Hear You for every local person they assist and in 2017 raised more than £3,100 for the charity.
Goodwills Legal Services Ltd is a well established regulated law firm that has been assisting local families for many years. Goodwills offers a helpful and professional home visit service to assist people with Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, prepaid funeral plans, probate and a range of other related services.
Goodwills will make a donation to the We Hear You charity for every person they assist who books their appointment via their local office on 01373 593193 in November. A donation will also be made to WHY for other work such as Lasting Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
There is no additional cost to local people who will still benefit from low prices such as only £88 for a standard single will or only £148 for two standard mirror wills for a couple.
Michael Rhodes, Goodwills senior consultant for Somerset, Bath, Wiltshire and the neighbouring areas, said, “I have long been a supporter of We Hear You and the vital service they offer to local people affected in any way by cancer. We offer an individual, caring and professional service to local people and I am delighted that once again we will be able to support the charity each time someone uses our services in November.
“I am sure local people will be pleased to know they are helping such an important local charity whilst also gaining the peace of mind and protection of a professionally drawn up Will, Trust or Lasting Power of Attorney.”
Gemma Wilkes, fundraising manager of We Hear You said, “We Hear You provides emotional support to anyone who has been affected by cancer or life threatening conditions across Bath, Somerset and Wiltshire. We support children, young people and adults by providing professional counselling in a variety of locations.
“The demand for our free services continues to grow, so this support from companies such as Goodwills is essential to enable us to have the resources to work with as many people as possible. The scheme last year was hugely successful and Goodwills’ donation provided 70 sessions of counselling for local families.”
