FROME’S Market Place was decorated with ribbons, balloons and flowers last week in honour of cancer campaigner, Lisa Wells, who died last month after living with stage 4 bowel cancer for two years.
Supporters of ‘Lisa’s Army UK’ – a charity group set up by Lisa as part of her campaign to reduce the age that people can get bowel screenings – decorated the area for the morning of Lisa’s funeral, which was held on Monday 2nd September.
Tributes for the mum have poured in from across the country, with many people describing her as ‘inspiring’. National magazine, HELLO! – who crowned Lisa as ‘Star Mum’ in 2018 – ran a special feature in their issue last month.
