FROME’s mayor cllr Philip Campagna visited Vallis First School recently to officially open their new outdoor classroom.
“There was great excitement amongst the youngest children at the school,” says a spokesperson for the school. “This beautiful area was transformed thanks to the support and donations from parents, governors and the local community.
“This new outdoor area gives the children in the Early Years opportunities to explore, play and use their imagination. Many sensory experiences are provided for the children to explore natural materials and water.
