FROME Friends of Palestine is holding an informal “meet and greet” session in the Cheese and Grain café on Thursday 17th March, between 6 and 7pm.
The local group aims to raise awareness of the situation for Palestinians as well as issues relating to Israel and Palestine.
Member of the group, Gerard Crawshaw, told Frome Times, “Now that people are able to meet in groups more easily, we have organised some events to take place over the next few months.
“These include films and talks – even a jumble sale to raise funds for Palestinian causes. If you would like to know more, do drop by for a drink on the 17th and let us tell you what our plans are.”
