THE Inner Wheel Club of Frome has donated £900 to the Memorial Theatre Boiler Appeal fund, bringing the total near to £10,000.
President of the Inner Wheel Club, Yvonne Covil presented Humphrey Barnes, chairman of the Frome Memorial Theatre Trust, with a cheque for £900 which was donated by its members.
Yvonne said, “Frome Inner Wheel is very conscious that the Memorial Theatre and Assembly Rooms are a great asset to the community to our town.”
Humphrey said, “The fund is close to £10,000 and we have several definite promises in the pipe line. We aim to place an order with one of the suppliers who has given us a quotation shortly, as we need to have the boilers fitted during the summer months in time for the autumn/winter.”
