THE Merlin Theatre is back in business and busier than ever!
With so many shows and events, they are looking for more people to join their team of volunteers who help with the general running of the theatre. As well as evening stewards, they are looking for people to cover front of house duties. Ideally for this role it would be an advantage to have some people management experience as you will oversee stewards and audiences. Full training will be given before you are let loose! The theatre also needs bar staff so bar work experience would be a benefit, but again training will be given if required. In return for giving up your valuable time you will get tickets to see other Merlin shows (stewards watch the shows they have volunteered for.)
The Merlin operates a daytime box office (10am – 1pm) which is also run by volunteers. If this area interests, then please email for more details. You will need computer skills for this customer facing role. Training will be given on the box office system.
