Music icons – Gary Numan, Kate Nash, Wunderhorse, The Selecter and CMAT – are set to perform at the Cheese and Grain this summer, ahead of appearances at the UK’s top festivals.
Gary Numan
Pioneering electronic icon Gary Numan will perform at the venue on Friday 27th June, ahead of his long-awaited debut at Glastonbury Festival.
Known for hits like Cars and Are ‘Friends’ Electric?, Gary Numan rose to fame in the late 1970s, becoming a trailblazer in synth-driven music.
Despite early industry resistance, he has remained influential across generations, inspiring artists from Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails to Beck and Damon Albarn. David Bowie once credited him with writing “two of the finest songs” in British music. Organisers say, “His recent Ivor Novello Award for Inspiration speaks volumes.”
CMAT
Irish pop sensation CMAT ends her It’s the Glasto Warm-Up tour in Frome on Wednesday 25th June.
Organisers say, “CMAT has been on a meteoric rise since her 2022 debut album If My Wife New, I’d Be Dead, which featured anthems such as I Wanna Be a Cowboy, Baby!, No More Virgos and her biggest hit yet, I Don’t Really Care for You, with its infectious chorus that could be heard across many a UK festival that summer.
“Major support slots followed with the likes of Florence & The Machine and First Aid Kit, winning over new legions of fans with her self-described mix of influences: ‘Dolly Parton meets Weird Al Yankovic, mixed with Katy Perry.’”
Wunderhorse
Critically acclaimed indie four-piece Wunderhorse perform in Frome on Thursday 26th June for an exclusive warm-up ahead of Glastonbury Festival.
Known for their raw energy and powerful live shows, the band has toured with Fontaines D.C. and Sam Fender. In 2025, they head to North America, play their biggest UK headline shows – including a sold-out date at Alexandra Palace – and embark on a European tour.
“Wunderhorse are fast becoming one of the most exciting names in British guitar music,” say the organisers.

The Selecter
Two-Tone legends The Selecter take to the stage on Saturday 28th June. Led by their iconic frontwoman Pauline Black OBE – often referred to as the Queen of Ska – the band remains one of the genre’s most enduring acts.
Organisers say, “Known the world over for hits including Three Minute Hero, Missing Words, Too Much Pressure and On My Radio, original drummer Charley ‘Aitch’ Bembridge also features in the current live Selecter line-up.
“2025 marks the 45th anniversary of their debut album Too Much Pressure, and amongst other dates worldwide this year, they will perform on Glastonbury’s iconic Pyramid Stage.”

Kate Nash
Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Kate Nash performs an extremely rare one-off show on Thursday 24th July.
Nearly two decades into her career, Kate Nash achieved chart-topping success with 2007’s Made of Bricks, which featured her smash hit Foundations. She has since navigated industry challenges and reinvented herself as an independent artist with releases such as Girl Talk and Yesterday Was Forever.
Now also known for her role in HBO’s GLOW, Kate Nash recently signed with Kill Rock Stars and is set to release her fifth album, 9 Sad Symphonies, this June.
