Frome Medical Practice are pleased to confirm the appointment of Kaylyn Hudson as operations manager.
Kaylyn had previously held the post of practice manager at the Mendip Country Practice in Coleford.
As operations manager, Kaylyn is responsible for the smooth management and running of the Frome Medical Practice. However, Kaylyn brings with her a strong clinical background. She started her career training as a nurse, then qualified as a midwife before becoming a community child health nurse.
Kaylyn said, “I am genuinely excited to be working here at the Frome Medical Practice.
“What really attracted me in coming to Frome was that despite all the current pressures on the NHS budget, the partners and staff here are all determined to provide a health service to the town that is second to none, making available locally as many medical services as possible. The facilities for the patients are also really impressive. There are few GP practices that are able to offer their own operating theatre.
“I am unashamedly passionate about the NHS and Primary Health Care and with 20 years clinical experience behind me I would hope to ensure that, along with everyone else who works here, I can help to achieve the vision of a health centre that genuinely is second to none.”
The senior partner at the Frome Medical Practice is Dr Tina Merry. She said,”‘We are delighted to have Kaylyn Hudson working with us. In particular, coming from the Mendip Country Practice, she is already familiar with all the workings of the East Mendip Federation of which of course our practice forms part of.
“With her clinical background and knowledge and understanding of primary health budgets, I know that she will be an invaluable member of the team.”
