Basketball lovers in Frome now have a place to play, thanks to the launch of a brand-new club at Frome Sport & Fitness.
Open to both men and women, this friendly and inclusive group welcomes all abilities and plays every Thursday from 7pm to 9pm, offering a great opportunity for anyone looking to get involved in the sport.
Designed to support the local basketball community and build interest in the sport, the sessions are completely flexible, there is no pressure to commit and players can drop in whenever they like.
A member of the group, Ryan Todd, said, “Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, the club provides a welcoming space to develop skills and enjoy the game.”
Each session costs £8 for two hours and there is no need to sign up in advance; simply turn up on a Thursday evening and you can be added to the group.
