A NEW venture is launching next week at Wesley Methodist Church – a children’s clothes exchange.
The free service, which starts on Monday 16th May, invites parents to bring outgrown children’s clothes and exchange them for a larger size.
Rev. Jill Warren explains, “The exchange will run on the third Monday of each month from 9.30am to 11am. The church has been collecting clothes for some time so that there is an adequate stock to select from, for children aged from birth to 10 years of age.
“At a time when family bills are rising on an almost daily basis, we hope that this project will help families in Frome to help each other, by swapping used clothes, which are still in good condition but just outgrown. Donations, especially of boys’ clothes, would also be gratefully received, to enlarge our stock.
“Level access is from the back door of the church and the church office. There is a car park, via the lane from Park Road, postcode BA11 1EU, access is via the path through the graveyard.”
