A NEW weekly meditation and mindfulness class is launching with a fundraiser for the Frome Town Council’s Ukraine appeal.
The class is being held Marston Park, and the first session is being held on Saturday 14th May, 9.45am to 11am. The session costs £10, and all proceeds go to the Ukraine appeal.
The session, which is being run by qualified teacher Chris Barker, is open to complete beginners as well as those who are experienced in meditation and mindfulness.
Organisers say, “Does life sometimes seem like one long conveyor belt of doing? As soon as one task is finished, another dozen are waiting to be started! It’s important to give ourselves space to pause, to breathe, to just be.
“This new meditation class at Marston Park provides an oasis of calm amidst the chaos and a perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and yourself.
“Chris Barker is a highly skilled and fully qualified teacher who will help you discover what nurtures you and what drains you. Enjoy an enriching group experience in the beautiful surroundings of Marston Park.”
There are a limited number of tickets available, which can be booked via https://marstonpark.co.uk/happening/meditation-and-mindfulness-with-chris-6/
