The members of Frome Inner Wheel attended their monthly meeting on Tuesday 14th July, and President Margaret Holmes handed over the chain of office to Yvonne Covill who will take the chair for the forthcoming year.
Margaret wished Yvonne her best wishes for a successful and happy year in office, and Yvonne in her response to Margaret’s out-going speech said that her chosen charities for the year would be ‘Sight Savers’ and ‘Adult Education in Frome’.
Yvonne also said that her first major function would be the Farmers Harvest Festival & Auction on Thursday 1st October at the Standerwick Conference Centre, at which she will hopefully be raising funds for one of her charities.
