FROME Lions Club has a new president as the outgoing president Beverley Windley handed over the reins to Richard Phillips at the recent handover dinner at the Woolpack in Beckington.
Richard thanked Beverley, who was the first woman president in the club’s 55-year history, for her leadership during the past year and added that he is looking forward to leading the club and continuing to provide support for the local community with the club’s well-established charity work and social events.
