New stunt show joins packed Cheese Show line-up

The Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show returns on Saturday 12th September, promising a packed day of food, farming and, of course, cheese!

The Show proudly hosts the internationally renowned Global Cheese Awards, attracting entries from around the world. In the Cheese Pavilion, visitors can view award-winning cheeses, meet cheesemakers, shop from a mouth-watering selection, and even take home some of the Champion Cheeses at the famous Cheese Auction.

“It’s a true paradise for cheese lovers!” said Charlotte O’Neill, Showground Development & Competitions Manager.

“New for 2026, the Village Green welcomes the thrilling Paul Hannam’s ATV Stunt Show. Expect jaw-dropping tricks, precision riding and gravity-defying stunts as Paul pushes his skills to the limit in a high-energy display guaranteed to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.”

Across the Showground, there is a chance to explore 12 competitive sections including Livestock, Equine, Horticulture, Home & Handicraft, Eggs and Vintage Machinery.

“Look out for the spectacular Grand Parade of Livestock and the thrilling Gate Jumping competition in the Main Ring,” added Charlotte.

“Step into our Countryside Area and immerse yourself in rural skills and outdoor activities. Have a go at Clayzer Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, enjoy fly fishing demonstrations, test your skills in the dog scurry, try your hand at archery, and discover traditional crafts including blacksmith demonstrations. The spectacular Dorset Axe Men will also be bringing their action-packed display to the Show.”

For families, the popular Little Show-Goers Play Zone returns ‘bigger and better’, offering free entertainment, all included within your admission ticket.

“From pottery painting, face painting and sand art to Junk Jodie, circus skills and mini crazy golf, there’s plenty to keep younger visitors entertained,” said Charlotte.

“Keep an eye out for Belladonna and Her Venus Flytraps, this year’s captivating walkabout act, where the beautiful but deadly gardener invites brave visitors to get up close to her hungry plants… if they dare!”
