Community groups and social enterprises are invited to take part in a new survey designed to capture the funding needs, challenges and strengths of Frome’s vibrant voluntary and community sector.
The survey, being run by Frome Town Council and Locality UK, is open to a wide range of not-for-profit organisations, including clubs, community groups, charities, social enterprises, arts organisations, community venues and more – of all sizes.
“We know that community organisations and social enterprises are working harder than ever to support local people – often with limited resources. This survey is a chance for us to listen, learn, and explore how future funding and support can best meet the needs of Frome’s voluntary and community sector,” said Johannes Moeller from Locality UK, a national membership network supporting community organisations, who have been commissioned to carry out this anonymous survey.
If your organisation has ever received, applied for, or considered applying for a grant, donation, or other funding, this survey is for you.
“This is a real opportunity to make sure the support we offer is shaped by the reality on the ground,” said Hannah Stopford from Frome Town Council. “We want to hear directly from the local people making a difference – whether their organisations operate in Frome or beyond.”

The survey closes on 20th July.
