A classical group has welcomed a new violinist to join them in playing concerts across Somerset and Wiltshire.
Trio Paradis plays a donation-funded Café Concert on the first Thursday of each month from 1.15pm at Christ Church.
The trio performs over 120 daytime concerts each year and has been joined by a new violinist, Ruth O’Shea. Ruth is co-director of Bath Strings Academy and is looking forward to joining the group, whose other players are pianist Jacquelyn Bevan and cellist Linda Stocks.
“Our concerts enable people who find it difficult to access evening events to hear live music locally during the daytime,” explained Jacquelyn. “We aim to reach new audiences by keeping our Café Concerts donation-based, meaning you pay what you can.”
The pop-up café opens at 12.45pm, where you can meet friends and make new ones.
