STAFF at Not Just Pets were in for a surprise when Hollywood movie star Nicolas Cage paid them a visit to purchase some new additions for his family.
The star of Con Air and Face/Off dropped into the local pet store with his wife and son and soon caught the attention of staff member Stephanie Graham. “A gentleman came into the shop and I thought to myself that really looks like Nicholas Cage.
“I was unsure at first, but as soon as he spoke I knew that it was him. He asked for pond fish, which he and his family bought. He told me that he was in Frome for the weekend, but didn’t say what he was doing in the area.”
Soon after Nicolas Cage left, Not Just Pets posted a photo of the star posing with staff and quipped, “We had a very special customer in the shop today but he was Gone in 60 Seconds,” making reference to Cage’s film from 2000.
The A-Lister clearly made an impression on Stephanie, “He’s a really fantastic guy and it was a wonderful experience having him visit the shop. He was happy to have his photo taken with us.”
Stephanie is now waiting for the next celebrity to walk through the doors of Not Just Pets and joked that she is especially looking forward to meeting Johnny Depp.
