At North Hill House School the year finishes with a bang as students display their hard work in an end of year exhibition.
Students at North Hill House have been busy working on completing their GCSE Art and Photography coursework and this year the mayor of Frome, Toby Eliott officially opened the exhibition which displayed their work.
North Hill House is a school for pupils diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, they use the subject of art to allow their students to explore their feelings and emotions as well as being creative.
They had the opportunity to display their work to the general public and talk about their creations at the Black Swan Arts Round Tower exhibition space in Frome, giving further opportunities to improve their skills.
Their teacher, Leigh-Anne Litterick commented, “They have worked extremely hard and are proud of their achievements over the two year course and how incredibly creative they have been. A couple of the students have decided to continue to study in the subjects at local colleges.”
