The Nutcracker – Russian Ballet – will be performed by the State Ballet Academy of Minsk on Friday 8th November at 7.30pm.

The premieres of The Nutcracker transforms the classical ballet into a fairy-tale. Featuring timeless score from incredible composer Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky, Nutcracker is a certified Russian classic, replete with evocative music and beautiful dance. This ballet has captured the imagination of many generations over the years and continues to attract audiences worldwide, full of mystery and romance.
The Christmas story is based on ‘The Nutcracker and the Mouse King’ written by E.T.A. Hoffmann. It tells the story of Marie, a rather sad little girl, whose godfather Drosselmeier gives her a Nutcracker doll as a present on Christmas Eve which turns into a prince and the magic starts…
The Nutcracker is considered by many to be one of the greatest classical ballets of all time!

After being thrown off Sky’s ‘Soccer AM’ for what he thought was an innocuous comment, Chris Ramsey started to wonder whether he might actually be ‘the most dangerous man on Saturday morning television’. He discovers what happens when you say the wrong thing in the wrong place at the wrong time.
This year Chris Ramsey will star in the second series of critically-acclaimed sitcom ‘Hebburn’ returning to BBC2 later this year, which peaked at over two million viewers.
