Oakfield Academy has appointed a new group of prefects to represent the school and support events throughout the year. These students will serve as ambassadors, demonstrating the academy’s core values and setting a positive example for their fellow pupils.
“We encourage our pupils to consider their strengths and leadership opportunities,” head of Year 8, Pip Nightingale.
“In applying to be prefects they reflect on their qualities that make them outstanding Oakfield pupils and how they can use these to set high standards for all our pupils to aspire to.
“Prefects often introduce visitors to our academy and we see them as ambassadors who display our Oakfield qualities, which are ambition, etiquette, honesty, respect, kindness and pride.”
