FROME school pupils competed in a Lego robotics competition in Bristol earlier this month.
Oakfield students visited the Hewlett Packard building for this year’s competition.
The school’s Dawn Warren said, “Oakfield sent a strong team of students who have been training after school, building robots and directing them with remote control.
“The team finished mid-table which, since they have only been working together for a couple of months, is a great result!
“Head of ICT Mr Adam Reynolds was very proud of the pupils and said they were great ambassadors for the academy.”
