The six Scouts and Explorers from Frome, who have been selected to represent Somerset at the World Scout Jamboree this July in America will be selling tickets for an Easter Raffle in the Westway Centre, Frome this Saturday (30th March).
The top prize is a 2-night retreat in a cosy cottage in Devon, worth over £200. Other prizes include day passes to Center Parcs, Longleat and a photograph of the cast of Coronation Street signed by some of the cast plus other exciting prizes, kindly donated by Whitstone’s Fish and Chips, ASDA and The Memorial Theatre.
All of the money from the sale of the raffle tickets will go to the WSJ Scouts and Explorers, who must raise all of the money for the Jamboree and Training Camps with some of these funds going towards supporting Scouts from less privileged countries who, otherwise, would not be able to participate in this amazing, once in a lifetime Scouting experience.
